Missed appointment
No refund
Missed, or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice. The fee paid for that appointment is not refunded.
All amounts are in Australian dollars. Fees are the same for everyone and are not discounted. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your doctor's time
The full appointment time with your doctor, by phone.

The reading beforehand
Your doctor's reading of your pre-consultation form before you meet.

Your notes
Your clinical notes, and a copy whenever you ask for one.
What it doesn't cover. The fee is for the consultation itself. It doesn't include the cost of anything arranged as a result of your appointment. Those costs are set by whoever provides them, not by us, and we don't discuss them on this website.

Paying
Paid when you book.
The fee is paid when you book, through our booking system, and a receipt is emailed to you.
Changes
Changing or missing an appointment.
With at least 24 hours' notice you can reschedule or cancel, and your fee is refunded in full. If you miss the appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the fee paid for it is not refunded, because that time can't be offered to someone else at short notice.
The opinion
If the opinion isn't what you hoped for.
The fee pays for the doctor's time and assessment and isn't refunded because of the opinion reached. Booking a consultation doesn't guarantee any outcome. This doesn't change your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cost
If cost is a barrier.
We don't discount consultations, because a clinical decision should never be influenced by a sale. If our fees put this service out of reach, tell us, and we'll point you to other options rather than let you spend money you can't spare.
